Not automatically today — favorites, journal entries, and settings are stored locally on-device rather than synced through iCloud, so they won't carry over to a new device or a fresh install on their own.
Deleting the app deletes everything it stored — favorites, journal entries, custom quotes, and settings — since none of it exists anywhere else.
Open the app once after changing your theme or favorites — widgets refresh from data the app last saved, and iOS limits how often background refreshes can happen. If it still looks stuck, try removing and re-adding the widget.
Check that notifications are allowed for Momentum in Settings → Notifications, and that Daily Reminders is switched on inside the app's Reminders screen.
